IBTC PUBLIC WORKS

Insulating, Bendable, Transversely Elastic, Corrugated Conduit System.

Designed for the protection of underground electrical installations.

The bending flexibility of Kravel's IBTC tubes is very useful for avoiding obstacles and facilitating insertion into trenches with reduced cross-sections, challenging terrains, and curved paths. This results in excavation savings, thereby reducing additional civil engineering costs.

Kravel's range for the protection of underground electrical installations is available in coils, facilitating its storage

Exterior diameter (mm) Interior diameter(mm) Coil Length Draw Wire
40 32 50 m Yes
50 41 50 m Yes
63 52 100 m Yes
75 60 100 m Yes
90 75 50 m Yes
110 94 25 m Yes
160 136 25 m Yes

The IBTC Public Works range is manufactured according to the following standards: NT 87 169 – 1 (2010), equivalent to EN 61 386 – 1 (2008), NT 87 169 – 22 (2007), equivalent to EN 61 386 – 22 (2004)

The conduits in the IBTC Public Works range are equipped with a stainless-steel draw wire for easy pulling of wires and cables.

  • Material : Polyolefins
  • Color : Red
  • Equipped with a stainless-steel draw wire
  • Flame non-propagating on request: 1Kw
  • Burner test Shock resistance: 2 J at -5°C.

KRAVEL's IBTC tubes withstand physical aggressions (work, landslides, shocks, subsidence) and chemical challenges (acidity, salinity, humidity) and can be directly buried in any type of terrain.

Unlike PVC pipes, the high crush resistance and great flexibility of our corrugated tubes are due to the physical shape and materials used, not the thickness of the wall.

This robust resistance, combined with extreme lightness, represents major advantages during the implementation of KRAVEL corrugated tubes. They conform to the terrain, avoiding obstacles, and easily absorb forces caused by ground settling, machinery, and loads.
